The Gun that Shot Jesse James

If you live by the pistol, you probably should expect you’re going to die by it, and that’s exactly what happened to the Outlaw Jesse James. Throughout his infamous career as a bushwhacker, bank robber, train robber and leader of the James-Younger gang, his pistols were always by his side. In fact, the outlaw was known to never take them off. Then came a terribly hot day in April, 1882. In the parlor of his house in St. Joseph, Missouri while preparing for his next robbery, James took off his coat in the heat, and laid his pistols down on a table so they wouldn’t be seen. His friend Bob Ford, anxious to collect the $10,000 reward on the famous bandit, drew his Smith and Wesson Model 3 revolver and put one shot in the back of James’ head. Ironically, James had asked Ford and his brother to move in with him for protection! Now you can own your own Gun That Shot Jesse James with this magnificent tribute. Our non-firing version features the same break-open action as Ford’s infamous Model 3, along with a shiny nickel finish and real wooden grips. It also features a realistic trigger, cylinder and hammer action and comes with an 8” barrel. Feel like an Old West bandit – or Lawman – with this by your side, just watch out behind you!
