“Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” Full-Color $2 Bill

In April 1775, British troops were preparing to march towards Lexington and Concord to seize the weapons of the American rebels and to arrest John Hancock and Samuel Adams. Paul Revere and his compatriots were asked to sound the alarm. Revere and William Dawes were instructed to ride from Boston to Lexington to warn Hancock and Adams of the movements of the British Army. Using lanterns as signals from the Old North Church's steeple - one if by land, two if by sea - Revere made a daring journey through the night, evading British military patrols over the challenging terrain. But he succeeded, and the information he relayed allowed the Minutemen to prepare for the British arrival. As we approach the 250th Anniversary of American freedom, we honor the man without whom it may never have happened – Paul Revere. We’ve taken crisp, uncirculated U.S. Legal Tender $2 bills directly from sealed Federal Reserve packs, then enhanced them with Revere’s warning, “One if by land, two if by sea”, along with the date and the 250th Anniversary logo. A moving tribute to a great American patriot, available now and for a limited time at $5 off our regular price! Order yours now!
