Buffalo Silver Dollar

The coin that broke collectors’ hearts is available now at an attractively low price!

It started simple enough with an Act to “mint coins in commemoration of the National Museum of the American Indian of the Smithsonian Institution.” It ended with thousands of collectors being left out in the cold scrambling to try and get one of the most popular commemorative coins in modern history. It seems the government underestimated the sheer popularity of the Buffalo Nickel among collectors when it chose it as the design of the 2001 Buffalo Silver Dollar. Despite a significant maximum mintage of 500,000 coins, they sold out in just two weeks making them one of the few modern commemoratives to do so. In response, the National Museum of the American Indian requested that more coins be minted but the request was denied. The design has proved so enduring that it was later chosen for the American Gold Buffalo Coin, the first pure gold coin ever minted by the US government. Our Mint Master believes that this historic commemorative silver deserves a place in every collection, so he’s authorized a special low price of just $150 per coin – that’s over $50 lower than several other national retailers – for the same Brilliant Uncirculated coin! Each coin comes encapsulated for protection and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. This low price is subject to availability, so we urge you to call now to confirm your order!
