Operation Warp Speed Colorized Dollar
Between the lockdowns, mask mandates, social distancing and general uneasiness surrounding the pandemic that has gripped America, to say that 2020 has been a dumpster-fire of a year is an understatement. But, despite everything that has gone wrong, Operation Warp Speed (OWS) has shown us that even during the bleakest of times, America’s strength of purpose can shine. The Trump government, in partnership with the private sector, initiated OWS on May 15, 2020, to accelerate the development of COVID-19 vaccines, tests and treatments. True to its name, by November 2020, several of the drug partners were reporting vaccines developed that had a 90% or greater success rate! Vaccines began distribution in December with over 100 Million doses being delivered by February 2021. Under the best of scenarios, a turnaround like this would be incredible.
