Buffalo Gold Bars
This tribute to flawed historic beauty is made of pure gold! Now, for the first time ever, National Collector’s Mint is releasing a brand new “Buffalo” pure gold bar struck in .9999 pure gold! On the obverse, in stunning gold, you’ll see the famed three-legged buffalo, a tribute to the famous three-legged buffalo nickel error coin.
Officially known as a “1937-D 3-Legged Buffalo nickel” because the buffalo on the reverse of the coin had (you guessed it) three legs instead of four, it wasn’t just any old coin. The error was the result of a worn reverse die strike that resulted in an invisible fourth leg. The combination of the error, and the coin’s Gem Mint State pushed its value into the stratosphere. One 1937 Buffalo nickel sold for just under $100,000 at auction in 2021.
On the reverse of this radiant gold bar is the signature of Angela M. “Bay” Buchanan – the 37th Treasurer of the United States – along with the .9999 pure gold purity. Our Buffalo Gold Bars are affordably sized at 1/100th of an ounce of .9999 pure gold, and each ingot measures a generous 15 mm x 8 mm, and is struck in a proof-like finish.
Now you can get this stunning pure gold bar tribute to one of the U.S. Mint’s most famous errors. Order yours now! Supplies are limited. They won’t last long.
