The favorite sidearm used by both sides in the Civil War was the Model 1851 Navy Cap and Ball Revolver. Its 7.5″ octagonal barrel, strong frame and six shot cylinder made it the ideal weapon for close fighting. This full size (13″ long) non-firing (but mechanically functional) recreation is mounted on a deluxe wood frame with a replica engraving of Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and “Stonewall” Jackson entitled “The Last Meeting.” Its wood grips and intricate engraving of sailing ships on the cylinder add to its beauty and craftsmanship. Includes a brass identification plaque and a Confederate cap pin.
